This version of The People of the Black Circle was first released by Marvel Comics as part of the Savage Sword of Conan No.16 (1976). Adapted by Roy Thomas and John Buscema, the grit and savagery of this work still holds steady after forty-plus years locked away in a publishing warehouse. The colorized enhancement only adds to the awesomeness that is the Hyborian Age. Thanks, Titan Comics!
This is one of Robert E Howard’s most popular stories and I can see the appeal. I give this issue of Reforged a huge five-star appraisal. If you enjoy sword and sorcery, dinosaurs, or old tales of Arabia, this is the book for you.
