Dragonero, also known as Ian Aranill, is a fantasy comic book hero and legendary scout from the world of Erondár. Created by Luca Enoch and Stefano Vietti, Dragonero is a skilled warrior who battles monsters, supernatural threats, and powerful enemies across a vast world of magic and high adventure. His experience as a fighter and Dragon Hunter makes him a formidable hero when danger threatens the Empire.
Dragonero crosses paths with Conan the Barbarian in the comic book crossover Conan and Dragonero, bringing together two warriors from very different fantasy worlds. Explore Dragonero’s comic book appearances, adventures, allies, enemies, and encounters with Conan as the heroes battle dragons and other deadly forces.
My Rating “Part V: Ice & Flames – Chapter Two” Conan lands the killing blow, burying his weapon deep into the ancient Dragon of Earth. A horrendous death wail rings across the Margondar Mountains as the wounded beast collapses against the frozen landscape. With the creature finally dying, the Cimmerian stalks toward its massive carcass.
My Rating “Part 4: Ice & Flames – Chapter One” Dragonfire erupts all around Conan and Dragonero, yet the power of the sword Saevasechta shields both men with a magic barrier. This is the sword of the ancients! A weapon forged by the ancestors of Ian Aranill in a time long forgotten. No Dragon has
My Rating “The Gems Of Aquilonia – Part 02” Dragonero’s airship descends under great duress. The damage sustained while battling Wyverns over the Margondar Mountains is just too much. As Myrva Aranill struggles to direct the vessel forward, Conan helps look for a place to land. Their options are limited. The three heroes brace for
My Rating “Part 2: The Gems of Aquilonia – Chapter One” There are two moons! Conan knew this wasn’t his world, but it concerned him little. He had met beings from distant stars in the past, it would seem to be his turn as an otherworldly visitor. The dragon, or the magic gems it had
My Rating “Part 1: The Shadow of the Dragon” A bright flash pierced the eyes of Conan’s men, then a brief sensation of falling racked their nerves. In seconds their bodies impacted the ground. It was a cold, sandy substance where they lay. No, it was pure ash. Where were they? Conan and his troops
